JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a creative and talented Content Writer to join our marketing team. The Content Writer will be responsible for producing engaging and informative content for our website, blog, social media channels, email newsletters, and other marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, exceptional writing skills, and a strong ability to research and create compelling content that resonates with our target audience.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

  1. Research and generate content ideas that align with our brand voice and marketing objectives.

  2. Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for website pages, blog posts, articles, social media posts, email campaigns, and more.

  3. Conduct thorough research on travel destinations, trends, and related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.

  4. Optimise content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to our website.

  5. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members to brainstorm and execute content strategies.

  6. Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.

QUALIFICATION

  1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred.

  2. Proven experience as a Content Writer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of published writing samples.

  3. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

  4. Ability to research and understand complex topics and distill them into clear, engaging content.

  5. Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.

  6. Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to generate fresh and innovative content ideas.

  7. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  8. Proficiency in MS Office suite and content management systems (CMS).

  9. Passion for travel and a genuine interest in exploring new destinations and experiences.
