2. HANUMAN TOK is a famous temple in Gangtok dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple is situated at an altitude of approximately 7200 feet
3. GANESH TOK is a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha at an uphill distance of 7 km from Gangtok. The temple was built between 1952 and 1953
4. BAKTHANG WATERFALLS which is broad horizontal flow is what makes it extremely beautiful rushing down rocks into a small pool.
5. HANDICRAFT CENTRE a major center of learning and training in the traditional Arts and crafts of the state.
6. CHORTEN STUPA which is surrounded by 108 prayer wheels all of which have mantras inscribed on them in Thailand.
7. NAMGYAL INSTITUTE OF TIBETOLOGY is a beautiful attractive historical place to know the cultural heritage history of Buddhism Culture and the history of Lord Buddha.
8. Try CABLE CAR RIDE (ROPEWAY), one of the greatest attractions in Gangtok, should not be missed.
9. FLOWER EXHIBITION CENTRE: A delightful tropical nursery, the Flower Exhibition Center in Gangtok is heaven for plant lovers. The area is a lovely extent of greenery and is a genuine treat to the eyes.

 

You will have a Full day Excursion of Tsomgo lake. A standout amongst the most imperative and heavenly places to visit in Gangtok, the Tsomgo Changu Lake is a frosty lake arranged 40 kilometers from Gangtok at a stature of 12,310 feet. The water in this lake has been accumulated from the melting snow on the mountains located nearby. According to history, the color of water of this lake was studied by Lamas so as to forecast the future. They believed, if the water had a dark tinge, it indicated a year full of trouble and unrest in the state. Spend a whole day at this lake since it is an ideal ordeal. There are a couple of street-side stalls here that offer mouth-watering delicacies. And we definitely suggest getting your hands on them.
Secondly, you will have a visit to Baba Mandir as it is a distinguished sightseeing place in Sikkim. This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army. Harbhajan Singh shields his nation and individual officers on the Nathu La pass. It is believed that this legend has supernatural powers and that he monitors the soldiers who are at the border. He is the reason why this temple is important to tourists too.
